I believe we can test anytime up to 2 weeks prior to 12/11. I am pretty flexible with my schedule - so why don't you guys start throwing ideas out there.
Also - maybe we could even consider using skype for the performance events in case the weather is really bad and there are problems getting to Bradford.
Skype may not be open in all school districts--meaning some districts block Skype. We could always record the performance test participants and forward the videos to an independent teacher who could do the judging. - Yvonne

I think the best thing to do would to do on-site testing at our own schools on December 8 and 9. Then the performance events could still be held in Bradford or wherever Jenette decides – preferable ON December 11 – if ONLY the performance events are there they shouldn’t need a huge area like she was planning and maybe she could have it somewhere else instead of waiting for 12-21. That way we could register for States on the 11th and have a lot better chance of getting in at the lodge. - Julie Krone, Corry
I like the idea of being able to have testing at our home schools. Some of the Fort LeBoeuf students are taking college courses and are unable to miss their classes because of the requirements by their professors. It is unfair for those students to be unable to compete due to educational commitments. When it comes to traveling from Erie, it can be very challenging if the weather is bad. I taught in Bradford and remember traveling on the roads during the weekend when I would come home to Erie. In a school bus, it could be more challenging than driving in an automobile. - Yvonne Best-Proctor, Fort LeBoeuf
